alright guys..heres ur ultimate chance to have a peek inside sonia's diary!awesome ey..well ok not so coz it's only about my trip to new zealand!!hehe..as u can see..theres a map of new zealand..and i've highlighted the places that i've visited while i was there..auckland to wellington to christchurch to queenstown!the whole trip sucked until pak cak's family arrived!lol..
day 2 (11/12/07):Wellington
I’m on the airplane right now..auckland was boring..mom,sofy and I got stuck in the hotel lift for like 15 mins..very bad service there..anyway,I’m on the way to Wellington!
I’m at Wellington right now..daddy rented a car and we went sightseeing..all the way to the pier ..we met a very friendly and adorable mat salleh who talks non-stop..hehe.. this place reminds me of thailand..hehe..we had delicious briyani rice for lunch..oh and it seems that the hotel is located kinda far from the city..hmmph..
p/s:I feel like marrying a mat salleh now!hehe.

Day 5 (14/12/07):christchurch /Canterbury
I’m at Christchurch right now!staying at ibis hotel for 2 nights..Alia’s here!!yeay!hotel’s located in the middle of the city.ate sushi with sofia in the evening oh and also mcd!(that was after pak cak arrived..ngee)we rode on the gondola (a.k.a a cable car in msia) it was extremely high!!my first ride ever!lol..then we had dinner at a halal malay-singaporean restaurant..it was nice…=)
Goodnight! –heading to somewhere at 7am 2morrow-
the only drink i have for breakfast and lunch..hot choco..
Day 6 (15/12/07) :akaroa
We drove all the way to akaroa today..the journey started really early in the morning..quite a long trip..akaroa was a cute town..i got to swim with the dolphins!the water was FREEEEEEEZING cold..(now I know how the people in titanic felt)..hehe..oh and I also got myself an all blacks top! =D

Day 7 (16/12/07):queenstown
departed for queenstown at 7 am and arrived there at 5pm (it take only 8 hours to get there.actually but dad did sooo many stops to take pictures..) sleeping over at mercure RESORT (different from the ones in Wellington and Auckland okaaaay..) this time..lol..quite far away from town..but the view of mountains from our room is superb..we had seafood for dinner..didnt do anything much today..finally!we don’t have to wake up early tomorrow!!weeee~

what a day I had!i didn’t take a shower the whole day!i didn’t know that dad was going to take us to roturua which is like 8 hours away from Wellington!lol..we were supposed to go to roturua but it was too far so we decided to make a U-TURN!!weee~ (thank god..i was starting to get car sick maaan..) we stopped by a beach on the way to get there..couldnt restrain ourselves from swimming though..hehe..we even drop by at adventure park!it was soo fun!they had flying fox and a huge trampoline!lol.oh and I also got myself a paul frank jacket!

We rode on a cable car from i-cant-remember-where..(a tram is known as a cable carin nz..weird..)it headed straight to the city..did some shopping..(well mom forced me to buy stuff)..the shopping here sucks..ngee..we went to the pier after that..sofy and I went rollerblading..it was drizzling..we came back and bought ourselves more nasi briyani!(the only halal food we managed to find in Wellington..)
Leaving for Christchurch tomorrow!yippie!!

we did quite a number of activities today..rode on the shotover jet!!it wasnt as scary as how I imagined it would be..the drivers all looked sooo macho man!driving the boat soooo fast with a cap and a sunglasses on..lol..i take back my words after they opened their sunnies!HAHAHA.so yea..it started at 10.30 and finished at around 11.30..the ride cost sooo much!then I went shopping at the town with zarym and sofia!christmas sale!lol..rode on the gondola again and watched a kiwi hakka show..it was okaaay =)
dinner was at tandoori palace!nyum.
day 9 (18/12/07) :queenstown
gosh!i’ve gone soo dark!anyway,we went horse riding for 2 hours today..my ass hurts like crap but I enjoyed it..my horse’s name was harry!he was in the L.O.T.R movie and he’s retiring today..=( got to know some brazilian people..then omigosh!!i di a very bad sin today!i had kfc with pak cak and all! But luckily the girl at the Italian restaurant said that it was halal!phew..we went on the gondola again today!this time was to ride on the luge!!i rode on the luge twice coz it was soo fun!hehe..the paragliding looked soo scary..it was soo expensive too! $200 for 10 mins!that’s equivalent to RM500 for 10 mins!!i cant wait to get rich and come here again!hehe..i can do ALLLLLL the activities I wish to do..wohoooo~oh zarym says I should work as a vj or something coz I have an accent!!*blush2* especially when I talk to the locals..hehe..(bragging time jap..=D) oh and not to mention..there’s a lot of malays in new Zealand man!lol..alright that’s all for now!going back to Christchurch tomorrow..=( I really regretted not doing bungy jumping!..hmmph..

zarym and all left this morning..i cried this morning..no,I wil not tell u why I cried..i was quite okay after we won an ipod shuffle at the airport arcade!hehe..will be sleeping over at city life hotel..we bumped into uncle yong!!lol..daddy treated all of us for dinner at a steak house uncle yong suggested..lol..it was soo nice!!soo full until I feel like puking now!ergh..oh ya!selamat hari raya haji to all of u guys..=) going back home tomorrow!!weeeeeeeeeee~ gosh I sooooo regretted not doing bungy jumping!!=( night guys!!
